Following Trump’s inauguration, Elon Musk responded to accusations that he had performed the Nazi salute at a rally.

The spokesperson added, “Just to be clear, you are defending a Heil Hitler salute that was performed and repeated for emphasis and clarity.”

In a subsequent tweet, Elon referred to the salute as a “hoax,” saying, “The ‘everyone is Hitler’ attack is sooo tired.”

Christopher Pohlhaus, the head of the neo-Nazi organization Blood Tribe, posted the video and commented, “I don’t care if this was a mistake.” I will relish the tears I shed over it.

Andrew Torba, the creator of the far-right social network Gab, posted a photo of Musk doing the salute along with the caption, “Incredible things are happening already.”
