Senator Elizabeth Warren gave a guest speech and iconic singer-songwriter Carole King rapped the chorus of Swift’s smash hit song, “Shake It Off.” Swift and King have a long history together.
In 2021, the pop sensation will play “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” at the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony honoring the legendary musician.
Swift was called by King, who was present at the gathering, her “musical and songwriting granddaughter”; however, TS did not appear during the call.
Warren played two of Swift’s greatest songs from her vast repertoire: “Karma” and “All Too Well (10-Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version).”
She also used the opportunity to criticize Ticketmaster, a firm that Swifties have become resentful of after the terrible way the corporation handled the sales of tickets for the “Eras” tour in 2022.
Taylor — Thanks for your support and for speaking out at this crucial moment in our nation’s history.
