In 2018, Lane College hired Jacoby as their wide receivers coach, marking the start of his coaching career.
Later on, he was the receivers’ coach at Baltimore’s Calvert Hall High School and the tight end coach at Morgan State.

He went on to become Alabama State’s receivers coach in 2022. Only three days after turning forty, Jacoby passed away. UPDATE: According to The Daily Beast,
the New Orleans coroner’s office disclosed a month after the NFL player passed away that the cause of his heart ailment was chronically high blood pressure. It was said that he died naturally.
