“They told me that, but they were lying to me about everything else. I don’t know if I believe that either,” he continued.
Anthony claimed he didn’t want to see the body after the somber discovery since he thought it was just a skeleton.
“For them to stay in that apartment with your own mother’s decaying body, I can’t understand it — and I guess I never will understand it.”
The cause of death and the exact time of her death are currently being pieced together by investigators.
The youngsters told police she died in 2018, but they told their uncle she died in 2017. Anthony said a deputy informed him she had been dead for more than a year.
The four children are being assisted by adult protective services, but their uncle does not even want them to attend her delayed funeral.
