Chastity Patterson, a young lady from Arkansas, lost her father four years ago, but she continued to contact him and share details about her life. She felt as if he was still with her, which helped her deal with his passing.
She would write in the notes about her college education, graduation, overcoming cancer, and other things she would be excited to share with her father, if he were still living.
But one day, she wrote, “Hey Dad, it’s me.” “It’s going to be another difficult day tomorrow!” she received a response.
The number apparently belonged to a father who was saved by Chastity’s messages after losing his own daughter in a vehicle accident. Every morning he eagerly anticipated them.
“Hello, my love, For the last four years, I have been receiving all of your communications, even though I am not your father.
I eagerly await your nighttime updates and your morning letters. Your letters kept me alive after my daughter died in a vehicle accident in August 2014.
