Tragic new facts have surfaced about the two-year-old child whose father reportedly left her in a hot vehicle before she died in Tucson, Arizona.
In the driveway of her family’s house, youngster Parker Scholtes was reportedly sitting in a car while temperatures reached 109 degrees. Christopher Scholtes, her father, said that he did not want to disturb his sleeping daughter.
Parker was allegedly left in the car for a minimum of thirty minutes, according to the police. Tragically, the little one passed away on July 11.
Christopher is now facing charges of child abuse and second-degree murder stemming from the event. Next month, he is expected to appear in court.
The medical center where Parker was declared dead happens to be Banner University Medical Center, where Erika, Parker’s mother and Christopher’s wife, is reportedly a doctor.
