Following an unannounced leave of absence on paternity leave, Gutfeld made a comedic speech about parenting on Monday night, which had some poignant moments.
Early in December, Gutfeld, 60, and his wife, Elena Moussa, 42, had a daughter, Mira. Her birth was revealed by his Fox co-hosts in a program on December 10.
In a speech filled with his characteristic contempt for liberals, Gutfield said, “My diaper was the first one she had to change when my wife told me she was pregnant.” In reference to parenting,
Gutfeld said, “It’s not easy but it’s not earth-shattering either. The lesson I learned is how much I gotta unlearn, meaning throughout my life I’ve mastered the art of being selfish.”
