According to TMZ, a media advisory from the Mammoth Lakes Police Department stated that the “unruly skier” was in the ski patrol’s custody when the police arrived.
Before being discharged, Osment was charged and brought to a lab for testing.
His case has not yet been decided whether or not to be prosecuted by the district attorney’s office.
He has previously encountered law enforcement. The celebrity entered a no contest plea to DUI and one count of marijuana possession after being detained in 2006 for driving under the influence and colliding with a brick pillar.
In addition to a fine of $1500, he was sentenced to three years of probation, sixty hours of alcohol treatment, and six months of AA meetings.
