“Watching my son go through multiple surgeries and treatments has been heartbreaking,” she said. “No family should have to endure this kind of pain and uncertainty.”
Fiona, along with Scott’s aunt Lyndsey, is participating in the “200k in May Your Way” challenge to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research, a UK charity dedicated to advancing treatments and finding a cure.
The Urgent Need for Brain Cancer Awareness
Brain tumors receive just 1% of the national spend on cancer research, despite killing more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer in the UK.
“We need better funding, kinder treatments, and real hope for families like ours,” Fiona said.
