Heartbreaking last text of guy who overdosed days after appearing on Jeremy Kyle program is revealed at hearing

The tragic last text message sent by a guy who overdosed and died a few days after appearing on The Jeremy Kyle Show was disclosed at a hearing into his death.

The man’s death will be formally investigated during this hearing, which is an inquest, and any contributing circumstances will also be determined.

Seven days after shooting an episode of The Jeremy Kyle Show in May 2019, Portsmouth resident Steve Dymond, 63, passed away from an overdose and cardiac issues.

Carl Woolley, the father’s son, said at last week’s inquest that his father had complained about being “thrown under the bus” by the ITV program before he passed away.

Dymond was put through a lie detector test after appearing on The Jeremy Kyle Show and being accused of cheating on his ex-fiance Jane Callaghan. Dymond failed the test.
