Corey was proclaimed a “hero” by his sister Dawn, who released a message online revealing that he had protected his family in his last moments.
In her statement, she said that her brother, Corey Comperatore, was killed at the PA Trump rally. Our dearest loved one was murdered because of our animosity for one individual.
“He was a hero who shielded his daughters.” “His wife and girls just lived through the unthinkable and imaginable,” she posted on Facebook.
My little brother turned 50 not long ago, and he still had a lot of life to live. “Love knows no bounds and hatred knows no limits.”
Corey was also honored by Governor Josh Shapiro, who told reporters, “His wife shared with me that he [dived] on his family to protect them.”
“Corey was an ardent supporter of the former president and was so excited to be there last night with him in the community,” Shapiro said, according to Sky News, which quoted Shapiro.
