According to Beijing’s official media, a restaurant fire in northeastern China has killed 22 people and injured three more.
Around 360 kilometers northeast of Beijing, in the Baita District of Liaoyang City, a restaurant caught fire on Tuesday at 12:25 local time.
According to Chinese official media, President Xi Jinping said that the fire had resulted in “significant casualties” and that the lessons learned were “profoundly serious.”

And seek culpability in line with the law,’ Xi said. Online footage confirmed by AFP showed dense black smoke rising into the sky and intense flames consuming a two-story restaurant.
