According to Disney, the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District fire crew put out the fire at around 7:20 p.m.
According to MailOnline, regular activities resumed that evening after a portion of the area was blocked off while firefighters contained the fire.
The Ratatouille theme attraction and more dining options have increased the popularity of Epcot’s France Pavilion in recent years. It also has a miniature version of the famous Eiffel Tower.
Over 100,000 people visit the theme park, one of the Walt Disney World Resort’s four main parks, on weekends, particularly during spring break.
