Olympic swimmer Gary Hall, Jr. of the United States has “lost everything,” including the ten medals he took home from the Summer.
Olympics in 1996, 2000, and 2004. He said that all of his “worldly possessions,” including his house and company, were lost in the terrible fire that struck southern California.
After having to leave everything behind and flee his Pacific Palisades home, the three-time Olympian talked with NBC 12 News.
“It’s all material belongings, not just a house,” Hall said. “That guy with nothing to lose is me, really.” According to Hall, his home was “a driver shot” from the fire’s origin.
As it proceeded down the hill to where I was, Hall said, “it grew quickly, then flames, and you could see the houses going up one by one.” “When I left, it wasn’t that far away.”
“People were just leaving the cars and just running,” he said. Thankfully, they managed to make it out, but.
