During a segment on The View honoring her 69th birthday, Whoopi Goldberg admitted to the audience that she “likes to be eaten from time to time.”
That’s not what she meant, so get your head straight! On Wednesday, November 13, Goldberg gave out “Whoopi’s favorite things” on her birthday broadcast, as is customary.
A wheel of cheese with her visage printed on it, from the Italian business Parmigiano Reggiano, was one of the goods.
She co-hosted with Sara Haines, who said, “I always wanted my face on cheese.” “I like to be eaten from time to time,” Goldberg said after kissing the cheese.
As Goldberg pretended that her own insinuation had rendered her speechless, Haines turned around and exited the frame almost as quickly as she had finished speaking.
When Haines came back to embrace Goldberg and Goldberg stood on stage with his mouth open, the audience’s laughter and applause escalated into a roar.
