Palza stated in the letter, “We think Centro does a great job of caring for our children, and that this is a regrettable and hopefully isolated event.”
Soon after the incident, Coronado created a GoFundMe page. To date, she has raised almost $6,000 of her $10,000 target.
“They don’t deserve this level of defense, much less to be employed alongside children.” Coronado wrote, “I want them ALL to be held accountable.”
According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, Davis is charged with one count of child abuse.
In addition to one crime of child abuse, Bertroch and Bocconcelli both face one count of complicity and one count of failing to disclose child abuse.
