Soares is glad she was able to see her kids again. A friend of the family created a GoFundMe in the days after the event.
The money will be used to pay for her children’s necessities, medical bills, and utilities and rent while she is unable to work. They have raised more than $31,000 of their $40,000 target thus far.
Soares expressed her happiness at being able to return home to her kids. She said in an interview with ABC-TV News that “he was just being a jerkoff on the road.”
He could have been having a rough day, but I’m not sure. If that is the kind of guy he is, I don’t believe he belongs in society with the rest of us. I’m not sure what it was.
