The homeowner and what they saw are described by the neighbors:
According to the Daily Mail, neighbors described the homeowner as a “quiet, hard-working truck driver” who works long hours and is “rarely at home.”
Although there were “no trespassing” signs on his property that made it obvious that anyone caught trespassing would be shot, the neighborhood only had positive things to say about their neighbor.
He’s a decent neighbor. Chico Chapman remarked, “My nine-year-old son plays with his nephews,” and described the homeowner as a “friendly guy who always waves.”
According to police, a lady was one of the three individuals present at the residence when the shooting occurred.
And the homeowner was known to possess a semi-automatic gun and to be fiercely protective of his mother. After five shots, the sound changed to that of a handgun.
