“It’s likely that someone wearing a mask is attempting to cause bodily harm if they approach you at four in the morning,” Jenkins stated.
He remembered holding the youngster while the teenager kept telling him he was dying. “I heard a guy yelling for help: ‘Help me, help me, I’m dying, I’m dying, help me, help me,'” he claimed.
Jenkins said, “I told him he wasn’t going to die, and he died.” When the homeowner phoned 911, deputies discovered the teenagers outside the house, still wearing their masks.
One lay close to the driveway’s edge. The other two were a little further up the road. According to ABC 10, one of the teenagers was lying in a pool of blood on top of a black Glock handgun.
Since this seems to be a “stand your ground” case of self-defense, no charges were brought and it seems unlikely that any will be.
One thing the relative was correct about was that “that’s not how it’s supposed to go.” Adolescents shouldn’t be trying to shoot innocent people and conduct armed robbery.
