Biden defended the integrity of the system in his speech, refuting the claim that Social Security is plagued with fraud.
“What the devil are they talking about, a Ponzi scheme? These rewards are earned by people,” he stated. They contributed to that benefit.
They depend on that advantage. Furthermore, nobody should take it away.
“Who the hell do they think they are?” he asked, criticizing a Republican plan to renew Social Security every five years.
“They’re definitely breaking things, they’re shooting first and aiming later,” the former president said in closing, warning and avow.
