Trump said in his victory address at Trump Headquarters early on Wednesday morning that “God spared [his] life for a reason.”
Since July, Trump has been the target of two assassination attempts. He expressed his gratitude for being elected to a second term in his 25-minute address from West Palm Beach, Florida. He stated,
“I’ve heard a lot of people say that God spared my life for a reason, and that reason was to save our nation and bring America back to its former glory.” “And now, together, we will accomplish that mission.”
“I will give the job you have given me every ounce of energy, spirit, and fighting that I have in my soul, even though the task ahead will not be easy,” he said.
The first attempt on Trump’s life occurred during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13.
A 20-year-old guy fired around eight rounds at Trump, killing fireman Corey Comperatore and striking the 45th president in the ear. Two more males who attended the event also suffered injuries.
