Last month at the presidential debate, Biden faced criticism for how he fared versus Trump.
The president subsequently said that he “almost fell asleep on stage” due to his busy schedule, which saw him flying “around the world a couple of times” in the days leading up to the discussion.
He blamed his poor performance on this. Biden maintained his intention to run for president despite mounting pressure on him to step out.
