The current co-host of The Five on Fox News and former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino replied on May 19, 2024, to a deceptive advertising campaign.
That falsely said she was quitting the program because of a disagreement with co-host Sean Hannity and a purported lawsuit against Fox News.
The advertisement, which surfaced on social media sites including Facebook and Instagram, said that Perino’s exit was related to conflicts with Hannity and her purported CBD product company.
Perino said unequivocally in a recent interview that these assertions were untrue. She referred to the people responsible for the fraudulent advertisements, saying,
“That jerk is hell-bent on harassing me non-stop.” Perino was categorical that she is not engaging in any legal disputes with Fox News or Hannity and that she is not quitting The Five.
