In the deadly Frisco stabbing case, Karmelo Anthony’s bond was lowered and he was placed under house arrest.

Anthony was brought into arrest after cooperating with the responding police.

Anthony allegedly questioned the officer in the police car about Metcalf’s safety and whether what he did qualified as self-defense.

Defense lawyers Billy Clark and Kim Cole were engaged by Anthony’s family after his arrest, and they quickly asked for a reduction in Anthony’s bond.

Anthony’s defense lawyer asked the teen’s father about his character at Monday’s hearing. Anthony was a “A” student and the captain of his football and track teams, according to his father’s testimony.

Additionally, Anthony’s father informed the court that he is his family’s only provider and that he is unable to pay the $1 million bond.
