Insiders at ABC say they are “embarrassed and horrified” by David Muir’s purportedly “narcissistic” dress choice while reporting on flames in Los Angeles.

As if ABC News needed any further humiliation. Unfortunately, David Muir’s apparent conceit was evident throughout his coverage of Wednesday’s catastrophic wildfires in Los Angeles.

While reporting live amid the disaster, the “World News Tonight” anchor made a tone-deaf on-air fashion faux pas by unintentionally revealing.

To the camera that he had clothespins tightening the back of his official-looking flame-retardant jacket for a better fit.
