On social media, a video clip of Michelle Obama has gone viral and revived long-debunked conspiracy theories, generating waves of online comments.
The central point of debate is from a passage from her most recent podcast, IMO With Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson, in which she seems to state, “That warms my heart, particularly as a Black man.”
stripped of background and broadcast extensively across channels, the clip has caused some to mistakenly believe the former First Lady identified as a man.
After conservative commentator Paul Szypula shared the video to X (previously Twitter) on April 30, stating, “That warms my heart, particularly as a Black man,” it started to go viral.
He followed it with the note, “Interpret as you wish,” allowing conjecture through the door.
