J.K. Rowling Declares Her Inability to Forgive Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson

The Rule That J.K. Rowling Put in Place Meant That the Harry Potter Film’s Director’s Child Could Not Speak In It

It all began in 2020 when Rowling seemed to take issue with the op-ed’s discussion of “people who menstruate” (rather than “women”) and retweeted it. “‘People who menstruate'” is what the writer would tweet.

“I’m sure those folks had a name when they were younger. Assist me, please. Um, wumben? Who is this widow? Um, woomud?

Rowling continued: “If s** isn’t real, there’s no same-s** attraction,” despite the overwhelming negative response to her statements. The lived experience of women throughout the world is erased if s** isn’t genuine.

Eliminating the term s** prevents many transgender individuals from having meaningful conversations about their life, which is something I know and appreciate. To tell it how it is isn’t hatred.
