Jack Russell, a former Great White Singer, has passed away at the age of 63.

Jack’s band is honoring him for his “unwavering contribution to rock and roll, where his legacy will forever flourish,” as well as his “exceptional zest for life and sense of humor.”

Jack was singing for Great White from 1981 until 1996, when he pursued a solo career. He returned to Great White after the release of his first solo album until the brand disbanded in 2001.

Jack subsequently changed the band’s name to Jack Russell’s Great White, which was responsible for the 2003 Rhode Island nightclub fire that resulted in the deaths of 100 individuals.
