Although Jake noted that this has been fairly typical for him throughout his fighting career, he also said that he didn’t feel much punch force coming from the Baddest Man on the Planet.
Jake stated he did all in his power to put on a fun performance, but he had little to work with while his dancing partner was “just surviving in the ring.”
This was in response to the crowd jeering during the last moments of the fight. “So I couldn’t really get him to engage me or slip shots and do something super cool or whatever,
But I don’t care about what people have to say,” Jake said. “They’re always going to have something to say and that it is what it is.”
Mike called challenged Jake’s elder brother, Logan, for a fight on Friday, demonstrating his advanced age but showing no signs of hanging up his boots just yet.
