James Earl Jones, 93, was the actor from “Star Wars” and “Lion King.”

At the age of ninety-three, James Earl Jones, the man who provided the voice of several well-known characters, unfortunately died away. His managers at Independent Artist Group verified the information to Deadline.

Renowned for being one of the best performers of his time, Jones is one of the select few to have received an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award, making him an EGOT.

Among his many honors are three Tony Awards, a Daytime Emmy, a spoken-word Grammy Award (1977), and two Primetime Emmy Awards.
