James Earl Jones, who portrayed Darth Vader in Field of Dreams, died in New York at the age of ninety-three.

 

He wed the actress Cecilia Hart in 1982, and the two had a son named Flynn. Hart passed away on October 16, 2016, due to ovarian cancer.

Jones disclosed in April 2016 that he has been fighting type 2 diabetes for over twenty years. After dozing off in the gym, he was diagnosed in the middle of the 1990s.

‘I didn’t detect any signs,’ he said in an interview from 2018. at an attempt to reduce weight, I had joined a diet and exercise program, but instead I slept off while seated on a bench at the gym.

“That’s not normal,” my doctor, who just so happened to be present, stated. When I went to be tested, as he had advised, I discovered that I had type 2 diabetes. It struck me like a lightning bolt.

According to Jones, “I had to retrain myself to be aware of when my body is telling me something.” When blood sugar is low, it’s usually simple to detect.
