According to Newsmax, former President Joe Biden said on Thursday that sexism was a major factor in President Donald Trump’s 2024 win against Vice President Kamala Harris.

During an interview on ABC’s The View, Biden said that he was not shocked by Harris’ defeat and asserted that the Trump team had successfully undermined her candidacy by using gender-based assaults.

Biden resigned from the 2024 election. He felt that he could have beaten Trump again if he had remained in the race. Regarding voter turnout, he said, “A lot of people didn’t show up.”

Although Trump boosted his vote total by more than 3 million in the 2024 election, Biden stated that Trump garnered “7 million fewer votes” than he did in 2020.

Despite dropping out of the race, Biden stood up for Harris, claiming that the Trump campaign’s “sexist approach” was the reason for her defeat rather than her record or polling results.
