Joe Biden’s last presidential act is to pardon his family members.

 

Biden pardoned American lawyer Ernest William Cromartie and businessman Gerald G. Lundergan in addition to his family.

“I am commuting the life sentence imposed on Leonard Peltier so that he serves the remainder of his sentence in home confinement,” Biden said.

Peltier will now spend the remainder of his life term from home after murdering two FBI officers on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and breaking out of federal jail.

In recent years, there have been several appeals for the mercy of the 80-year-old, who is said to have served over 50 years in prison.
