Jordan Chiles may be required to return one of her Olympic medals due to a review board’s determination that a challenge to her score should not have been permitted.
Chiles was initially awarded a score of 13.666 during the women’s floor exercise on Monday, which placed her fifth and just off the podium.
Initially disheartened, her instructors requested a review of the difficulty level, which the judges granted.
