Today, Tuesday, January 21, a 12-year-old child was stabbed in a startling daylight incident on a street in Birmingham. In Hall Green, the young victim was attacked as schools were about to let out.
At around 3:15 p.m., he was stabbed close to Scribers Lane and taken to the hospital; his condition is unclear. West Midlands Police have issued an urgent request for witnesses this evening since.
The offender is still at large. Officers are “urgently reviewing CCTV” and interviewing people as they search the area for anybody who may have seen information.
That might help apprehend the assailant. The force has created a big incident site where anybody may contribute pertinent information.
