Since President Reagan’s victory in 1984, American University professor Allan Lichtman has correctly predicted the outcome of almost every presidential election.
In light of President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the contest and Vice President Kamala Harris’s assumed nomination as the Democratic candidate, Lichtman modified his intricate prediction model.
With under 100 days till Election Day, Harris is now expected to win based on his model, which comprises thirteen components, or ‘keys’ as he refers to them.
According to Lichtman’s model, there are variables working against the party that is now in the White House—the Democrats.
