They are requesting that the decision be declared void because they contend that the 52-year-old served on the jury for the whole court case.
According to the paper, “Juror No. 15 was not the person called for jury duty on April 11, 2022, and as a result, he was not a member of the jury panel and could not have served.
On the jury at this trial in accordance with newly discovered facts and information.” Consequently, a new trial need to be mandated and a mistrial proclaimed.
“In this instance, a person named [redacted] who lived in [redacted], Virginia, and had a listed Date of Birth of [redacted], 1945, was on the jury panel list.”
“The 52-year-old who served on the jury for six weeks was never called for jury duty on April 11 and did not appear in the list as required, so this means the individual would have been 77 years old.
