Keith Urban has a peculiar way of praising other musicians, saying things like “her voice sounds like an ashtray” while describing Miley Cyrus.
The conversation took an unexpected turn when the country singer joined Kate Ritchie on the Fitzy and Wippa podcast on Wednesday in Sydney, Australia.
“I love that voice, man, that voice,” Keith said. She has an ashtray-like voice. And I say it with all due respect.”
He also said that her speech sounded like the RSL carpet, which he never really explained but must have been appealing to him as well.
