Carbon monoxide poisoning was the official cause of death for KeKe Jabbar, according to TMZ. According to
the autopsy report acquired by TMZ from the Alabama medical examiner, the reality star’s blood contained 64% carboxyhemoglobin.
The reaction between carbon monoxide and hemoglobin in red blood cells produces carboxyhemoglobin, a molecule that bonds 200 times more firmly than oxygen.
Typically, non-smokers have levels below 2% and smokers under 5%; nevertheless, KeKe’s level of 64% was lethal.
