LOS Angelues: Famous for portraying the horror legend “Chucky” in some of the “Child’s Play” films, actor and stunt performer Ed Gale died at 61, according to TMZ and a relative.
What we know: Gale passed Tuesday in Los Angeles under hospice in TMZ’s account.
“It is with a heavy heart and a surprisingly light coffin (see what I did here?) that we announce the sudden death of our uncle… has taken his final bow and is now headlining in the afterlife,” his niece Kayse Gale posted on Facebook.

The backstory: Kayse claims Ed arrived in California with just $41 after hitchhiking twenty years ago.
Among his other roles are cult classic movies like ” Howard the Duck” and “Choice Chicks in Zombietown.”
Kayse says her uncle starred in 130 films, TV series, and advertisements.
