Along with North Korean KN-23 equivalents and a swarm of approximately 250 drones, including decoys. Ukrainian forces intercepted six of the missiles and around half of the drones.
“This was a difficult night,” said Kyiv Military Administration Chief Timur Tkachenko. “One of the largest combined attacks on the capital. The enemy is refining its drone tactics while simultaneously deploying ballistic missiles.”
The bombardment came as reports emerged of targeted strikes on Ukrainian drone production facilities near Kyiv’s Antonov aircraft plant.
Additional missile strikes were reported in the Dnipro and Poltava regions, with military infrastructure believed to be the primary targets.
