Less than a year after another granddaughter died in her care, a grandmother is jailed when a newborn is left in a hot vehicle.

A charge that could have resulted in the grandmother doing up to 30 years in prison, but she was found guilty of leaving a kid alone in a car and inflicting serious bodily damage.

Despite acknowledging she was unaware her granddaughter was in the vehicle, Nix was sentenced to five years in jail for failing to testify in court.

“I literally forgot for a long time,” she remarked. I’m devastated by what transpired. I want to avoid giving the impression that I’m making excuses because I’m not.

At her sentence, Kaila Nix-Schock addressed her mother personally, who had lost two of her children as a result of Nix’s behavior.

“I still adore you.” According to Fox 13 Tampa, Nix-Schock sobbed as she remarked, “I hate this.” “You know I had to make a decision, even though I hate having to.

However, it doesn’t alter my feelings. Judge Brandon Rafool said after imposing his sentence: “Uriel’s case is not unique. She seems to be expressing sadness, not regret, in my opinion.

A distraught woman enters the room to find her one-year-old kid consuming his grandfather’s ashes.

A 76-year-old woman was saddened to discover that the jacket she gave contained a $2,500,000 lottery ticket she had won.
