Outside the Buenos Aires hotel where Liam Payne plunged to his death, his father has paid respects to his late son.
On Wednesday, October 16, Payne, 31, fell from the Casa Sur Hotel’s third-floor balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The singer’s corpse was discovered in the hotel courtyard inside, and a post-mortem examination report said that he died from numerous wounds and “internal and external haemorrhage” from the fall.
Two calls for help for a visitor who was “intoxicated by drugs and alcohol” were placed by hotel workers, according to a transcript made public by the Buenos Aires police department.
Payne’s hotel room was described by police as being “in complete disarray” with “various items broken,” and the inquiry into the “inconclusive death” is still ongoing.
