“We are still looking into the infant deaths and non-fatal collapses that occurred in the neonatal units of the Liverpool Women’s Hospital and the Countess of Chester Hospital between 2012 and 2016.”

In connection with other inquiries into purported infant fatalities at a different hospital at the end of the previous year, Letby was recently questioned by police.
In response to allegations made by a group of global health specialists, her legal team is also attempting to contest the decisions rendered against Letby in 2023 and 2024.
