“Mandalorian” actress Gina Carano, who was fired from her role, is “moved to tears” after achieving a major win in her legal battle against Disney.

Disney and Lucasfilm apparently did not find Carano’s comments impressive. The actress was ultimately pulled from the series, and her return to reprise her legendary role was announced to fans.

A representative from LucasFilm said, “Gina Carano is not employed by Lucasfilm at this time and there are no plans for her to be employed in the future.” “Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”Elon Musk, billionaire owner of Tesla Motors, is supposedly helping Carano financially as she fights to get back on the program, and the two are now suing the corporation.

Carano asserts in her statement to the Guardian that she was “harassed and defamed” by Disney and Lucasfilm because of her conservative views and refusal to comply. She went on to say that male colleagues of hers were never punished for making “derogatory statements” against Republicans.

As for Disney and Lucasfilm, the lawsuit calls them out for engaging in “bullying, discriminatory, and retaliatory actions.”

Claiming wrongful termination and sexual discrimination, Carano is requesting a court order to restore her on the popular series and $75,000 in damages. In a significant victory for the media conglomerate, a court rejected Disney’s attempt to have the lawsuit dismissed.
