“The ‘Kamala Harris Institute for Policies and Ideas’ sounds a little bit like a Babylon Bee headline,” remarked Republican spokesman Matt Whitlock. It would be similar to the Kardashians starting a think tank.
Doug Powers wrote on Twitchy, “The Kamala Harris Center for the Unburdening of What Has Been should provide a bottomless well of material.”
“[The Babylon Bee] can’t compete with this,” wrote Nathan Brand, a political advisor and communications specialist.
Abigail Jackson, the deputy communications director for the Republican Party, proposed that the institute be named “The Coconut Tree Institute,” a reference to a frequently parodied statement made by Harris.
“I can only imagine the type of deep thinkers that will be affiliated with this venture,” Joe Jackson, the director of communications for Senator Cynthia Lummis, stated.
