Galiero claimed that prior to transitioning to vaping, she smoked a pack a day. She would huff ‘like crazy’ after she started using e-cigarettes, though.
“With a cigarette, you can put it out and do what you have to do,” she remarked.
However, a vape is similar to a cell phone in that it is always in your hand and you hit it even when you don’t want to since it is there.
“It’s terrible,” she continued. Cigarettes are not nearly as hazardous as vaping.
Because vaping avoids burning tobacco, which creates the most dangerous toxins in cigarette smoke, doctors suggest it may be healthier than smoking.
However, doctors also warn that frequent vaping, especially with unapproved vapes, might lead to problems.
Propylene glycol, a petroleum-based substance found in the smoke from the devices, can irritate the airways and cause blood to seep into the lungs.
