Although Galiero did not specify the brand or flavors she was using, many people are drawn to vapes because of their alluring and frequently fruity flavors.
“I was’so proud’ when I switched from smoking to vaping,” she continued, adding that she was never once cautioned about the possible dangers.
Doctors determined that she had pulmonary bullae, which is a condition in which big air-filled gaps build up in the lungs when lung tissue is destroyed, after she was taken to the emergency room in March of this year after choking on a drink.
Before undergoing surgery, which would probably involve removing fluid-filled parts of her lungs, she was informed that she would need to stop vaping.
She had surgery on April 30 after quitting, and she is still recuperating from the operation.
Galiero stated: “My doctor said that one of the pulmonary bullae ended up rupturing and that my lung collapsed because they were building up with the liquid from my vape.”
