Mom, 78, passed away after consuming a single cookie from the grocery store.

We received a tip that a bag of cookies labeled Oatmeal Raisin may really have included Peanut Butter Cookies, according to the recall.

Consequently, soy and peanuts were left off the ingredient list. The store’s bakery department had clear plastic containers in which the recalled cookies were packaged.

“There has been one report of a serious adverse event,” the recall continued. The family’s complaint claims that if the cookies had been properly labeled, Bryant’s death may have been avoided.

Lisa Bishop stated: “My mother’s final moments were terrible, terrible, and agonizing.

“Take the proper action. I don’t want anyone else to experience it. There is a purpose for labels, and I don’t want anyone else to perish as a result of incorrect labeling.”

Bryant is not the only person who has tragically died as a result of supposedly mislabeled food; in January 2024.

Orla Baxendale, a 25-year-old New York professional dancer, died after consuming holiday cookies from a Stew Leonards grocery that were mislabeled.

A 19-year-old soldier was discovered dead at the base after the boss “bombarded him with 3,600 texts in one month.”

In primarily dystopian scenes, a humanoid robot “goes berserk” towards employees during a demo.
