“On the side of the road, I had to remove my trousers. I was weeping when I phoned my hubby back. “By the time I was in the ambulance my car was just one huge fireball on the side of the road.”
After spending a month in the hospital recuperating from a seven-year smoking history, Suzanne now has to apply moisturizer and Vaseline.
To her affected regions “four or five times a day” at home. She is still dealing with the stress of the fire even though her wounds are mending well.
“I felt like I was still on fire for the first several days. They had to scrape and clean my flesh because I was burning,” Suzanne continued. “I’m glad I didn’t lose my leg since I came so close to doing so.
“I had some private region irritation, but nothing that needed surgery there. It extended all the way back halfway up my butt and was on each side of my inner thighs.
